Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by an Egypt in Style Tours representative, who will assist you through arrival formalities, including the purchase of your entry visa*. After collecting your luggage, transfer to your hotel conveniently located near the Pyramids of Giza.

Once check-in is complete, your tour manager will provide an overview of the exciting days ahead. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax and enjoy the hotel’s facilities, or attend the Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids this evening (optional, at your own expense).

Today you’ll experience what millions around the world only dream of – standing in awe before the legendary Pyramids of Giza. Marvel at the largest of them all, the Great Pyramid of Khufu, built over 5,000 years ago as the pharaoh’s tomb.

For those who wish, you may choose to enter the King’s Chamber inside the Great Pyramid (optional, extra cost). Another unforgettable option is a camel ride into the desert, where you can capture incredible photos of all nine pyramids lined up against the horizon – a true bucket list moment!

Next, visit the enigmatic Great Sphinx, the guardian of the plateau. Carved from limestone with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, the Sphinx has silently watched over the desert sunrise for centuries.

Your journey continues with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, home to an unparalleled collection of artefacts from across Egypt’s dynastic history. Highlights include the world-famous Golden Mask of Tutankhamun, alongside mummies, colossal statues, intricate jewellery, and much more. Your Egyptologist guide will introduce you to the masterpieces before giving you time to wander and explore at your own pace.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor.

Upon arrival, step into the ancient world with a guided visit to the magnificent Karnak Temples, dedicated to the god Amun. Wander among the awe-inspiring 134 towering columns of the Hypostyle Hall, admire the intricate hieroglyphics carved into every wall, and imagine the vibrant colours that once covered this sacred complex in all its splendour.

Continue on to the equally majestic Luxor Temple, a masterpiece of ancient architecture that once formed the heart of Thebes, the great capital of the pharaohs.

Later, embark on your luxury Nile River Cruise, your home for the next four nights as you sail along the timeless Nile.

After an early breakfast, cross to the West Bank of Luxor, where ancient history comes alive. Begin at the legendary Valley of the Kings, the burial site of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs. Here you’ll descend into several of the richly decorated tombs carved deep into the mountainside thousands of years ago. Among them lies the tomb of the boy-king Tutankhamun. Your Egyptologist guide will select the most beautifully preserved and colourful tombs open on the day of your visit.

Continue to the striking Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a masterpiece of ancient architecture built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Hatshepsut remains the most famous female pharaoh to rule Egypt, and her temple is a testament to her legacy.

Before returning to your cruise, stop at the imposing Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that have guarded the Theban necropolis for millennia.

Back on board, enjoy lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure. Relax on the sun deck, take a refreshing swim, or simply sip a cool drink as the Nile drifts by.

This morning, step ashore to visit the magnificent Temple of Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in all of Egypt. Dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, its towering pylons, detailed reliefs, and grand courtyards bring to life the splendour of ancient Egyptian worship.

Return to the boat and continue your journey south along the Nile towards Kom Ombo. Just a short stroll from the riverbank lies the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, the only double temple in Egypt, dedicated to two gods: Haroeris, the sun god, and Sobek, the crocodile god. Its walls reveal fascinating hieroglyphs, including depictions of ancient medical instruments that are still recognisable today.

This evening, enjoy a lively cruise party on board as you celebrate the Nile journey with your fellow travellers.

This morning offers an optional excursion to the awe-inspiring Temples of Abu Simbel. Depart early for the 3½-hour drive south to this world-famous site, considered by many to be the most impressive of all Egypt’s temples. Carved directly into the mountainside, the temples were built by Pharaoh Ramses II and dedicated to himself and his beloved queen, Nefertari.

In the 1960s, the entire complex was carefully relocated, block by block, with the support of UNESCO, to save it from the rising waters of the Nile. This monumental engineering achievement is almost as remarkable as the temples themselves. Visiting Abu Simbel is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Return to Aswan for lunch on board your cruise. In the afternoon, relax as you sail the tranquil Nile aboard a traditional felucca, much like the graceful boats used since the time of the pharaohs. Glide past picturesque riverbanks and watch life along the Nile unfold.

After breakfast, disembark from your Nile River Cruise and begin your sightseeing in Aswan. Visit the enchanting Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis and beautifully relocated to Agilkia Island to save it from the rising Nile waters. Continue to the impressive High Dam, a modern marvel of engineering that changed the course of Egypt’s history, and the Unfinished Obelisk, offering insight into the stone-carving techniques of ancient Egypt.

Later in the day, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Cairo. In the evening, gather with your group to enjoy a festive Farewell Dinner, celebrating the unforgettable journey you’ve shared before checking into your hotel for the night.

Sadly, your journey through Egypt comes to an end. After breakfast, our representative will meet you at your hotel and assist with your transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight home or onward travels.
