Day 3

Rise early and transfer to the park headquarters for a full briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines. You will be assigned a gorilla family and an experienced ranger who will guide you deep into the rainforest.

The trek may take between 2–6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. Once found, enjoy a magical 1-hour encounter observing these remarkable primates in their natural habitat.

Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

After breakfast, drive back to Kigali (approx. 3 hours). Upon arrival, transfer to Kigali International Airport for your flight to Zanzibar Island.
